Our story begins with a shared desire: to do things differently. At a time when everything seems to be moving too fast, we feel the need to slow down, to return to the essentials, and to create spaces where time, creativity and people take centre stage once again.
This is how Arriera came into being: as a project that brings together art, craftsmanship and the local area. Inspired by the rural landscapes and the people who live there, we began to imagine experiences that would not only be lived, but also remembered. Little by little, what began as an idea took shape thanks to our collaboration with artists, craftspeople and local communities who share our way of seeing the world.
Today, we continue to forge this path with the same intention that started it all: to create authentic experiences, to pay attention to every detail, and to highlight what often goes unnoticed.
At Arriera, we are committed to small towns and settings far removed from the noise and hustle and bustle of large cities. We want to celebrate the local area, shared experiences and a different way of travelling: purpose-driven tourism.
We work closely with craftswomen, artists and local projects that form part of Spain’s rural ecosystem. Together, we create creative, authentic and thoughtfully curated experiences: art workshops, retreats, gatherings and activities that bring people and their surroundings closer together.

Our idea is based on something very simple, people are inherently creative. Everything that has driven change, evolution and new ways of living and interacting stems from creativity. Moreover, creating not only transforms the world around us, but also transforms us from within; it helps us to reconnect, to express ourselves and to set ourselves free.
In a world increasingly overwhelmed by the rush of everyday life and technology, we believe it is more important than ever to get back to basics. To rediscover the value of making things with our hands, of spending time together, and of nurturing the creativity that is part of who we are
We believe in the importance of fostering creativity in all its forms, as a tool for well-being and personal growth that has an impact on various aspects of our lives.
We value human connection, continuing to meet new people and getting together in person to socialise, chat and bond.
We bring creative experiences to rural areas, highlighting regions that are often overlooked by the cultural scene.
We are promoting a more balanced economy by supporting local projects and creating opportunities in different regions, beyond the major cities.
